![]() Like most hardware|software these days you can expect a company to ship with the idea that they'll fix it in firmware/software updates so my negative experiences could change pretty quickly. ![]() Here's something, heavily edited, that I posted to a different reading community, it touches on the differences and has some other thoughts that are replies to specific questions I got in that community: It's long but I'm too lazy to cut it down :) If I weren't invested in getting all my devices to USB-C and I didn't know the Oasis had been out for a while, and I wasn't actively trying Amazon alternatives I'd be very, very happy with the Oasis.īut again, having said all that, my daily driver of choice is the Sage. If all you care about is nothing getting in the way of you and your book, I'd suggest the Oasis -except that the Oasis is older and lacks USB-C. Forma was built using better materials and felt like it was manufactured more precisely (except for that power button). Sage doesn't have the horrendous power button of the Forma. I also own the Forma the Sage is a step forward and backward from the Forma. The Sage pen and notetaking isn't a great experience -it's neat and all but the implementation makes it less useful than I had hoped. I use the Sage as my main device but the Oasis is nicer -it has a more premium feel, sits better in my hand and the software is more reliable. ![]() I own the Sage and an Oasis (and to many other ereaders). ![]()
